Quick Overview of Nathan’s
Do you love working outdoors, and want to work for a fast growing company? Consider starting a career with Nathan’s Outdoor Services! We’re an all season service company, that works in the Twin Cities Metro areas.
In the summer, we provide services like mowing, fertilization/weed control, irrigation maintenance, and landscape installation services. In the winter, we provide snow removal services, like plowing and shoveling. We also have office positions available. We’d be happy to see you join our team!
A typical Summer Day:
A typical summer day at Nathan’s Outdoor Services starts out at 7:00am, with team members arriving at our shop in Cottage Grove/Hastings via their own transportation. From there, crews are dispatched in company vehicles throughout the Twin Cities Metro to start their routes or projects for the day.
In the summer, our mowing crews usually consist of 2-5 person crews, who are responsible for their own route. Normal summer hours are 7am-4/5pm, Monday through Friday. When possible, we try to work shorter days on Friday. Applicant must be willing to work late/Saturday if the crew falls behind due to weather.
During busy spring and fall cleanup season (a few times per year), all crews work on weekends to help handle the busy season work.
Wage & Weekly Pay
Summer positions have a competitive starting wage of $18/hour. Overtime is available and is paid for over 40 hours per week. We pay weekly through direct deposit.
No experience is required.
Initial compensation varies with skill, experience, and technical knowledge. A higher starting wage may be offered to applicants with experience, but is not guaranteed. Compensation increases with years of experience. The pay is different for winter snow plowing/shoveling jobs.
